How Amara supports her family across two continents

Amara moved to the UK in 2019 to work as a nurse. Back home in Lagos, her mother and two younger siblings depend on what she sends each month.

For years, sending money meant a trip to an agent, a long queue, and a fee she'd rather not think about.
