This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on getdara.app.
It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device that help a site function and remember preferences. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and analytics identifiers.
Some are set for the duration of your visit (session) and others persist until they expire or you clear them (persistent).
Categories we use
Essential cookies required for the site to work, to keep it secure, and to remember basic choices. These cannot be switched off without affecting how the site functions.
Analytics technologies that help us understand how the site is used, provided through PostHog and Google Analytics 4. PostHog keeps an anonymous identifier only in page memory and does not write it to browser storage; after you accept analytics, Google Analytics uses first-party analytics cookies for up to one year. These technologies remain off unless you accept.
Analytics (PostHog and Google Analytics)
We use PostHog Cloud's US region to measure page views and product and property interest. It keeps an anonymous identifier only in memory for the active page lifecycle and does not write that identifier to cookies, local storage, or session storage. We configure PostHog to discard client IP addresses and disable session replay and autocapture; the identifier is not used for third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.
We also use Google Analytics 4 to measure page views, traffic sources, and site events. It uses first-party analytics cookies for up to one year only after you accept analytics. Google advertising-storage and personalization features remain disabled.
If you submit an inquiry while analytics is active, we may store the anonymous PostHog identifiers and first- and conversion-touch source details with your CRM inquiry. This lets us understand which site journey led to the inquiry. Contact details are not included in the PostHog lead events.
We configure analytics to collect what we need to understand usage, respect browser Do Not Track, and require your consent before analytics starts.
Managing your preferences and browser controls
You can accept, decline, or withdraw analytics permission through the site's Analytics preferences control and through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and warn you before one is set.
Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site.
Do Not Track and global privacy signals
When your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we do not start PostHog or Google Analytics. We honour other recognised privacy signals where applicable law requires it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies and similar technologies changes. We will note the effective date on this page.
