Dara is a technology company. It is not a bank, a licensed money transmitter, a regulated financial institution, or an investment adviser. The Dara Card works wherever Visa is accepted. It is issued by a licensed partner bank that holds Visa principal membership, under license from Visa. Account services are delivered by Bridge. US residents are served by Bridge Building Inc., EEA residents by Bridge Building Sp. z o.o., and residents of all other countries by Bridge Building Limited. Your assets stay yours. Dara never takes custody of the stablecoins in your account; you own and control them at all times. Any digital asset can lose all of its value, and that includes stablecoins designed to track a currency, a commodity, or anything else. A stablecoin balance is not money on deposit at a bank. Cashback and Earn rates depend on your Dara membership tier. Both can move up or down at any time. The current rates and conditions are set out in the Dara Rewards Addendum. Dara Earn is software that connects your account to lending protocols run by third parties, through vault providers that Dara does not operate. Earn is not a bank account, a deposit, or a savings product. Money placed in Earn has no deposit insurance, carries no guarantee, and can shrink. What you earn comes from lending activity on those protocols, so it changes with market conditions and with how each protocol performs. Results from earlier periods say nothing about later ones. Dara does not run, manage, or control any protocol, and it does not audit or endorse the ones you can reach through Earn. You take on real risks by participating, including bugs in smart contracts, protocol failure, thin liquidity, counterparty default, and price swings, and any of these can cost you part or all of what you put in. Transfers are free when they travel over Dara's own rails. Networks, receiving banks, and other third parties may charge their own fees. Stablecoin balances and Earn positions sit outside the FDIC in the United States, outside the FSCS and the Financial Ombudsman Service in the United Kingdom, and outside comparable protection or compensation schemes anywhere else. They are not bank deposits. Where Dara is available, and who can open an account, depends on local law and on Dara's own eligibility rules. Both can change. Property financing comes from licensed partner lenders and is limited to investment properties that you will not live in.
